Introducing OmniConnect: A Dev Kit to Unlock Web3 for Telegram’s Billion Users

At Bitget Wallet, we’re committed to breaking new ground and making Web3 more accessible for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to unveil OmniConnect, our latest innovation that enables developers to connect Telegram Mini-Apps with over 500 blockchain networks, including major ones like Solana, TON, and all EVM-compatible chains.

This is a game-changer for Web3 and Telegram, which has over a billion users. By integrating OmniConnect, Telegram transforms from a simple messaging app into a powerful gateway to the Web3 ecosystem. Now, users can easily sign and execute transactions across multiple blockchains, even if they’ve never used decentralized technologies before. It’s all part of our larger mission to bring a billion social platform users into the Web3 space, in line with our broader Bitget Onchain Layer strategy.

Looking ahead, OmniConnect’s capabilities will extend beyond Telegram Mini-Apps. We plan to integrate it with other platforms such as browser plugins, mobile apps, and Web/H5 interfaces. This will allow users to effortlessly connect with any public blockchain, ensuring seamless interactions across all platforms.

Before this, Telegram Mini-Apps were mainly limited to interacting with the TON network. But now, thanks to OmniConnect, the doors have opened wide for multi-chain interaction. As Alvin Kan, our COO, puts it: " Previously, Telegram Mini-Apps could only interact with the TON network, making it difficult to engage with other public chains. We’re not stopping here, though. We’re working on more initiatives to support the growing Mini-App ecosystem and deepen our integration with Telegram. These efforts will make both platforms more powerful and give developers even more opportunities to build amazing things.

We’ve been part of the Telegram and TON ecosystems for a while now. We’ve partnered with big projects like Tomarket, Catizen, and Yescoin, and were the first to bring the MPC keyless wallet to the TON mainnet. We’ve even developed trading bots for Telegram, created multi-chain trading capabilities, and provided zero-gas fee experiences on TON DApps.
