Transfer stablecoins to a local bank account and receive in local currency
A virtual account gives you a personal account to receive USD or EUR from employers, clients, family, or your own overseas accounts. Funds arrive via standard bank transfer and convert automatically to USDT or USDC in your Bitget Wallet.
No — it's a dedicated service account for receiving transfers, not a personal bank account. It doesn't support cash deposits, cash withdrawals, or other standard banking operations.
Availability of USD and/or EUR virtual accounts varies by region — some countries support both currencies, some only one. Check your eligibility directly in the virtual account section of the Bitget Wallet app.
You'll need to reside in a supported country or region, complete identity verification on Bitget Wallet, and submit the required documents for review. Opening an account is free, and approval usually takes just a few minutes. Additional documents may be requested on a case-by-case basis.
Opening a virtual account is free. Each deposit incurs a small transaction fee (fixed fee plus a percentage, depending on the transfer method) and a network fee for converting to USDT or USDC. The bank or payment provider initiating the deposit may also charge its own fees, which are outside Bitget Wallet's control.
It depends on the transfer method — ACH takes 1–3 business days, Fedwire 1–10 minutes, SWIFT 1–5 business days, and SEPA about 1 business day. Funds convert to USDT or USDC automatically once received.
Enter your account details exactly as shown on the virtual account page. Missing or incorrect details can delay your transfer or cause it to be returned.
Yes. For USD, personal transfers are capped at $10,000 per transaction and $20,000 per month; non-personal transfers over $5,000 require additional review. For EUR, the limit is €15,000 per transaction and €30,000 per month.
Transfers can be delayed or returned due to incorrect details, exceeding limits, or required documents not submitted in time. Refunds go back to your original sending bank account, typically within 10 business days, and aren't charged an additional fee (though the original transaction fee is non-refundable).
